This Privacy Policy describes what data is processed when you use this website and the choices you have. It applies to every page of the site. The site is run by its administration; contact details are listed in the site footer.

Data collected automatically

When you open the site, the server records standard technical logs: IP address, browser type (user agent), requested pages, and timestamps. Logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, and are kept for a limited time.

Data you provide yourself

If you subscribe to email updates or request a downloadable material, your email address is stored in order to deliver what you asked for. Every message includes an unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe, the mailing stops.

If comments are enabled and you leave one, its text and the name you sign it with are stored and shown publicly after moderator approval. Poll and quiz answers are stored in anonymous, aggregate form. If you report an inaccuracy in the text, the highlighted fragment and your message are sent to the administration.

How the data is used

Collected data is used only to run the site: displaying content, sending requested emails, keeping the site secure, fixing errors, and understanding overall readership. Personal data is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles.
