There is nothing wrong with striving to maintain anonymity while using the internet. Almost every user wants to keep their personal life and correspondence private — and that is absolutely normal. After all, it happens that providers and online services, driven by illegal profit, use users' confidential information for their own purposes, selling and reselling it to third parties. At best, this can lead to intrusive advertising, and at worst — make you a victim of hackers, blackmailers, or internet fraudsters. That is why, when using a computer or smartphone, the first thing you need to do is to securely ensure your own anonymity online.

Preventing the Consequences of Cyber Wars

According to data published by Edward Snowden, specialists from the U.S. National Security Agency are convinced that the next major international conflict will take place in cyberspace, and preparations for it must begin today.

So, the U.S. (and not just the U.S.) is preparing for cyber warfare. According to available information, the main objectives in cyber warfare will be to incapacitate the enemy's critical infrastructure (power supply, water supply, banks, communication channels, military facilities). For this purpose, there is a constant search for vulnerabilities and tools for attack. So, the tools — that’s us, or rather, our technology.

Therefore, if you are, for example, an employee of a thermal power plant, an editor of a popular magazine, a system administrator of an internet provider, or an employee of a mobile operator's salon and have access to any information or may soon obtain it — you are a target for surveillance and a potential tool for attacking systems or obtaining necessary data. Unfortunately, this is the truth.

Preventing Surveillance for Religious or Political Reasons

Persecution of people for religious and political reasons is a serious problem that affects many countries and regions of the world. In some countries, undesirable individuals are held in special camps where they are subjected to propaganda, torture, violence, and sterilization.
